Mario Gotze to Liverpool FC Transfer?
If you are keeping an eye on potential Summer transfers as a FIFA 16 Ultimate Team player, you will be shocked this week to hear about a potential Mario Gotze to Liverpool FC transfer rumor.
Liverpool are increasingly confident they will be able to sign Bayern Munich midfielder Mario Götze this summer, with the player keen to reunite with his old manager Jurgen Klopp.
For a player that has a rating of 84 overall, it means that he would move to Liverpool and straight away be the joint highest rated player in the team along with Philippe Coutinho.
Could it really happen though? FIFA 16 players who use Liverpool as their main Ultimate Team will agree that reinforcements are needed and Gotze could be the dream candidate.
The 23-year-old German, whose extra-time goal won his country the World Cup in a 1-0 win over Argentina two years ago, would be a landmark signing for a club whose performances have faded badly since a failed Premier League title bid in 2014.
Gotze scored in Germany's 4-1 win over Italy yesterday after which he was asked about transfer rumours. He said: "We should stay in the present.
"I am happy to play again and what comes will come."
"The most important thing is to be playing again. I've really missed it over the past few months."
The Express report that Gotze believes a reunion with Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool can help him revive a career which has stagnated at Bayern. His future at the Allianz Arena has become increasingly uncertain in recent weeks as he has not been offered a contract extension, despite his present deal expiring next summer and Bayern handing a number of their stars new contracts ahead of Carlo Ancelotti's arrival.
And Liverpool think they could get him at a cut-price fee of £15m to £20m.
